| Abstract The propagation of many passion fruit species (Passiflora spp.) is done by seeds or sexual method, although asexual propagation, such stem cuttings, grafting or tissue culture is also possible and very useful in many cases. In this work, it was presented information on scientific and technological advances in sexual and asexual propagation of passion fruit, considering the different propagation methods and their applications. New demands for research and development activities are also related, given the wide range of passion fruit species and its potential for food, ornamental and medicinal use. |

| RESUMO: Este trabalho foi conduzido no viveiro da Embrapa Cerrados, em Planaltina (DF), com a reealização da enxertaria durante a estação chuvosa de verão. Teve como objetivo avaliar a viabilidade da enxertaria de mudas de pequizeiro (Caryocar brasiliense Camb.) pelos métodos de garfagem lateral ou à inglesa simples, borbulhia de placas sem lenho e com janela aberta e borbulhia de escudo com lenho. Os porta-enxertos foram produzidos em sacos plásticos de 20 x 30 cm e possuíam diâmetro do caule acima de 0,7 cm a 10 cm do solo. Para o fornecimento dos enxertos, foram selecionadas quatro plantas adultas, em bom estado vegetativo, com folhas maduras nas últimas brotações e sem frutos. | RESUMO: O cultivo do coqueiro na Região Centro-Oeste tem se tornado importante opção devido ao crescente consumo por água de coco. A demanda tem sido atendida pela oferta de frutos de outros estados. Existem muitas dúvidas sobre as práticas necessárias ao seu sistema de produção entre os técnicos e os produtores. A principal causa dos baixos rendimentos nacionais é o uso de genótipos não selecionados. | Hazelnut (Corylus avellana L.) is commonly used as mycorrhizal host for Tuber melanosporum Vitt. (black truffle). Black truffle orchards have been established in and outside its natural distribution area, currently also in Chile. Hazelnut can be propagated rapidly by cuttings, which, however, may not easily form mycorrhizal symbiosis under laboratory conditions. We successfully inoculated hazelnut cuttings with T. melanosporum and studied the effects of culture conditions, plant material and inoculum age on rhizogenesis and mycorrhization. | This research paper focuses on investigating the effect of using various substrate materials on the development of seedlings for ornamental plants. Bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon), Petunia (Compacta Enana Rosa) and Epipremnum aureum, Bermuda; Petunia and Epipremnum aureum were cultivated in different substrates. Synthetic sponge (Polyurethane sponge), Rockwool and sterilized cotton were used as the substrate materials in each case where an experimental water-circulating apparatus was designed and installed to execute the test. | ABSTRACT The intrinsic characteristics of the vegetative propagule may influence the rooting speed and shoot growth, as well as the final physiological quality of clonal seedlings of Coffea canephora. The aim of this study was to evaluate the growth and physiological quality of ‘Robusta’ coffee seedlings produced from propagules (stem cuttings) with different cutting ages. The study was conducted in a greenhouse, in the district of Ouro Preto do Oeste, in Rondônia, Brazil (10˚45’43” S and 62˚15’10” W).
